New Laborers

Today we received news that the couple mentioned in the last update on Okayama, Dana and Amy, were approved to come to Okayama to reach the people there for Christ. Rejoice with us that these new laborers will be appointed to come to work in this city God has laid on their hearts. They now begin the transition of leaving their homeland and preparing to come to a new culture, a new language and a new group of people.

The culture, the language and the people group will be new to them. However, the basic nature of people is the same. Man’s  nature keeps him blind to his need for God. The people of Japan are no different. The god of this world has truly blinded the minds of those who believe not. Pray for the hearts of the Japanese in Okayama to be softened toward the gospel message and be receptive to Dana’s and Amy’s witness.

We’ll be sharing other requests in the days to come, but today please stop and thank God for sending laborers in answer to ours and your prayers.

    Dana and Amy,

We (the Junkers) are working in Mitoyo, Kagawa (Shikoku.) Across the bridge. We continue to pray about a church planting movement here, though we feel very inadequate.

Keep us updated on what you are doing.
