Today was a day of worship for the Christians at one house churches. After a lunch of delicious Nepalese curry and great fellowship, they joined their hearts in singing praise to God, opened His word and learned from Peter’s example in Acts 3. Each one shared what God had said to them and they prayed together for strength to follow through on their commitments.
After sharing scripture passages that they had tucked away in their hearts, one of the ladies said “Oh, I visited Mrs. Sa this past week. She has been away from the Lord for several years, but I have not given up praying for her.” Mrs. Sa shared that she could not be a Christian because she didn’t understand the Bible. Then the house church Christian shared with Mrs. Sa about the body of Christ and how God uses us to help each other to grow.
This Christian is not giving up on Mrs. Sa. Sometimes we slack off in our prayers for those we have given up on, but God reminds us again that He doesn’t give up on us! Whether it is following up on new Christian or sharing the gospel with those who have never heard. We won’t giving up!!! After all it is not His will that any should perish!
Join this lady and the church in praying pray for Mrs. Sao and her friend, Mrs. Koh, that they will return to the Lord and once again taste the joy of His salvation.
