Hope

Since Friday, March 11, millions of Japanese in the north eastern part of Japan have been hoping: hoping that those they love are safe and unharmed following the magnitude 9.0 earthquake that rocked the main island of Honshu. People who made it safely through the earthquake and then watched as their loved ones were torn away and born out to sea on the waves of the tsunami are hoping against hope that they will be saved and come back to them. Pray that they will  to the One who can give them Hope and comfort their hearts.

Watching the destruction and then reading the front page headline  of the London Mail,  ”Hell on Earth”, reminded me again of the reality death and how quickly in the space of a few hours, thousands can enter a Christless eternity. Most of these have never heard the Good News that Jesus loves them and gave his life so they can live for eternity with God, the Father.

Pray that the people in Japan will find Hope!! Hope in Jesus: hope to face the future from today and for all eternity!!!
