Going Fishing

Hamamatsu is a great place for fishing. The Pacific Ocean is on the southeast side, the huge Hamana Lake graces both sides of the expressway that goes beside the city. You can see the fishing boats out on the ocean. And you can watch the people sailing or driving the leisure motor boats on the lake and rivers. Once in a while you will see a man fishing. There are many places to fish and probably many fish in the waters. Who is catching them??
But think about another kind of fishing. Jesus talked to his disciples about becoming fishers of men. How do we do that? Well, you can help us by preparing the fish!! You can pray for God to lift the veils from people’s eyes so they can hear the truth. You can pray for the young couple who are preparing and applying to come to work there. Pray for C and M that they will be bold, discerning and faithful prayers and witnesses for Christ in Hamamatsu.
