A great end to a long search

January 14, 2008

A san was a junior high student who was a victim of bullying when she met a missionary who shared God’s love for her and helped her prepare for high school entrance exams. Over the next years as she completed high school, college, prepared for and passed the national exam to get her license as an architect, she kept in touch with the missionary and heard the gospel many times.

Finally she reached her goal, working as an architect. She shared that her first job brought many trials and she realized this was an empty goal that could not fill the needs of her heart. Her missionary friend shared the gospel once again. After a week of conversations with God about her struggle of not being good enough, the first of December she invited Christ into her heart. Praise the Lord she immediately shared with her decision with her mom. The first two weeks of January she will be with her family in Kyushu. Pray she will stay close to Christ, be able to witness to her family and that her mom, dad, and grandmother will come to know Christ as their Savior as well. A san is going to be baptized in January and is inviting her friends. Pray they will want to know her Savior as well.
