Being His Church

The city of Sapporo is blanketed with snow from December until late April. Pray that the Holy Spirit will cover the city like a blanket this January and that the eyes of the two million people who live there will be opened to the truth of the gospel. Pray they will see their need for the salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Pray for Mrs. HT as well as Mr. and Mrs. Mamo who are all young Christians to take the great commission seriously.
Ask God go help these three to be a church family to each other and also to be bold witnesses for Christ, witnessing to and inviting their friends to worship with them. Mr. and Mrs. Mamo are very outgoing but they are also many times more focused on selling their products than they are on sharing Christ. Pray they will stay connected to Christ and that their faith will mature and their lives will reflect Christ each day. Pray that this small group will be the beginning of rapid multiplication of disciples and churches across city.
