Connected

God connected us with the MaKa’s this week. On Thursday night about 11:00 we received a call from this couple in Sapporo who are new Christians. We have asked our prayer partners to pray for this couple. So, this call was an answer to prayer.They were calling to set a time for us to meet together via skype to worship. And we did. On Friday morning at 7:30 we met together via skype, praised God by reading the Psalms and then read Philippians 3. God spoke to all of us, especially through, verse 8 and 9. During our prayer time, we all prayed that God would strengthen us to put him first in the coming week and that everything would be rubbish compared to our desire to know and obey Christ.
We meet next on April 29, again at 7:30 a.m. Ask God to teach us and grow us as we meet together. Also, pray that we will hold each other accountable for doing what He teaches us. We don’t want to be hearers and not doers!
Mrs. Maka’s father just had surgery to remove a tumor from the front of his brain. Neither of her parents are Christians, but they have seen their daughter pray. So before the surgery Mrs. Maka’s mother prayed to her daughter’s God, though she still doesn’t know Him. Please pray that the parents will come to know Christ and that this family will join together in worship and praise of the Lord Jesus.
