An intercessor’s prayer
October 20, 2007
Our last update posted on the 11th had a missionary family’s prayer update to their prayer partners. Here is a prayer of one of the intercessors. What a blessing to the family. Pray and write!!! It means a lot to all our personnel. Please continue to pray and claim God’s promises for each one scattered across Japan.
“Thank you for your news update. I pray now in the name of Jesus, that He will continue to lead you to those who are ripe for witnessing. Those whose time is right now: Move through the country of Japan like wild fire. Let the Word of God fall fresh upon this family who have made such a great sacrifice through obedience to Christ’s calling. Cause their children to be obedient children as they witness through their lives. Surround them with loving friends and encamp Your angels around them. Protect them from all hurt, harm, or danger. Bless their daughter with more faith, to know that you have your assigned warring angels to protect her parents. Use their oldest son to witness as God leads him. Bless their youngest son to accept You at an early age, at Your appointed time for him; speak to his heart as he grows. Bless him with a safe school environment to learn in. Bless his parents with a special annointing to be patient with him as they wait on God to move through Your Spirit. Speak to every heart they witness to so that only you can do and change the 25 to 1 rule in Jesus’ Name and for His sake.” (There is a statistic that states that only 1 out of every 25 Japanese persons who hear a gospel witness will eventually accept Christ as their Lord and Savior)

I commit to pray for Japanese communities throughout Japan. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me as a child, as I was Southern Baptist Missionary’s daughter, to Tokyo, Japan. Although I was just a small child–I do recollect some, yet few, memories.
I know my parents were devoted to spreading the WORD of God; who HE is; what HE can do; and, the love of Jesus Christ. My father founded the first English Speaking Baptist Church, as my mother was devoutly involved with WMU and too–spreading God’s WORD amongst many in so many ways.
I do indeed remember Tatokason and Nogowason. I pray by the Grace of God–that one day we may reunite. I dearly miss Miss Penny Robinson–who exemplified what a servant of God truely is. She has gone to be with Jesus, and one day… we shall embrace one another.
I have learned that one must stop talking about how big their problems are–and begin to talk about how big their Lord and Savior is.
We are in control of what enters our hearts, and only we can–as opposed to God–allow “worries, pain, problems” ro remain. I strive to say to “my mountain(worries, pain, problems),” be removed! (Reference: the book of Matthew).
I have the mustard seed! You too, can claim your personal victory in the midst of “the storm”–and allow Jesus Christ to comfort you, guide you, protect and shield you… and place you “high upon a rock…”!
I am a blessed Child of our Living God! I am thankkful to my parents, as missionaries to Japan (many years ago) for showing me and teaching me God’s love, mercy, and Grace.
