I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me as a child, as I was Southern Baptist Missionary's daughter, to Tokyo, Japan. Although I was just a small child--I do recollect some, yet few, memories. I know my parents were devoted to spreading the WORD of God; who HE is; what HE can do; and, the love of Jesus Christ. My father founded the first English Speaking Baptist Church, as my mother was devoutly involved with WMU and too--spreading God's WORD amongst many in so many ways. I do indeed remember Tatokason and Nogowason. I pray by the Grace of God--that one day we may reunite. I dearly miss Miss Penny Robinson--who exemplified what a servant of God truely is. She has gone to be with Jesus, and one day... we shall embrace one another. I have learned that one must stop talking about how big their problems are--and begin to talk about how big their Lord and Savior is. We are in control of what enters our hearts, and only we can--as opposed to God--allow "worries, pain, problems" ro remain. I strive to say to "my mountain(worries, pain, problems)," be removed! (Reference: the book of Matthew). I have the mustard seed! You too, can claim your personal victory in the midst of "the storm"--and allow Jesus Christ to comfort you, guide you, protect and shield you... and place you "high upon a rock..."! I am a blessed Child of our Living God! I am thankkful to my parents, as missionaries to Japan (many years ago) for showing me and teaching me God's love, mercy, and Grace. R. L.
