Good News!!!!!

August 6, 2007

Today we do have good news from Tokyo. We want to thank all of you and others at your churches who have prayed with us as we waited for the results of Tak’s biopsy. God had given us a peace about whatever the results were as we had prayed for him to be glorified no matter what the results. We saw the doctor this morning and are thankful to report that no cancer cells were found in the biopsy samples. While this does not 100 percent mean that there is no cancer there, we are taking this as God’s answer to our prayers and that there are none!!! We prayed if there were any cancer anywhere that they would find it, and if there wasn’t then the results would be negative. He will have another test in 6 months, but we are trusting the Lord.

Also we have good news from Okinawa. Mr. Miku called sent an email on Sunday to say two ladies had prayed to receive Christ and one is ready to follow the Lord in baptism. Pray for the two ladies also to follow the Lord in baptism and for a church to be birthed there. Also, pray for the barber who is off work only on Tuesdays to have time to meet for discipleship and worship.

This morning when we returned from the hospital, Mr. Miku called again to let us know that a man who saw the new Christians studying the Bible in the park this morning came over to see what was going on. Mr. Shiro, a new Christian, shared his testimony and Mr. Miku then shared the gospel further. Mr. Go prayed to receive Christ as his Savior on the spot. PTL. Pray for these new Christians to grow in the relationship with Christ, be church to one another, and share Christ with those around them who don’t know Him.

It’s a wonderful thing to go out into other parts of the world and teach others about God’s love and the mercy shown to us through Jesus. Not all of us are called to be missionaries but those who are must be brave, keep on preaching and teaching to the people of Japan, they also need to be saved. We cannot save ourselves only God can. I pray for your mission, that God may bear a lot of fruit in your lives and that you touch many hearts saving many souls. God bless you!

    Cynthia,
Thank you for your prayers for missionaries. I hope you will continue to pray because as you read the updates you will see that God is answering your prayers. People are listening to the gospel and responding!!! Please encourage others to join you in praying for the 127 million lost Japanese, and the billions of lost around the world.

    Thank you for encouraging us.
