On the Move

August 5, 2007

As you have noticed Outreachjapan has been undergoing some changes in the last few weeks. Thanks for being patient with us as we update our site. We are on the move to make our website easier to update so you can pray more concretely for the needs in our Strategy Group, JCTV. (Japan’s Cities, Towns and Villages) No we are not a television station!!!! We are thrilled that you will be able to rejoice often with us. There are many other changes coming in the next few days so come back and see how we’re doing.

Today is a wonderful day!!! The first Sunday of August and my husband’s birthday. Many of you have been praying for him during these past weeks as we wait for the doctors’s report from his biopsy. Thanks so much.

God has been doing some pretty amazing things down on the island of Okinawa. In the last six weeks, 19 people have prayed to receive Christ. Most of them are men and boys although in the last two days, three ladies have been saved. Mr. Miku has been going to the park near his house and witnessing. He is also taking a couple of the men who have been saved with him, and right now he is trying to meet with those who have been saved a couple of times a week to study the Bible and disciple them. In addition to this, he has his job that he must do in order to support his family. Please pray for him and for those who have trusted Christ.

Week before last two ladies were saved in Togane.  A mother and daughter were saved in a nearby town. Three of them were baptized together at the beach last Sunday. It was a wonderful time of fellowship as the house churches came together for the baptism and fellowship.
